How Our Training Works
The ground school of the Cessna CE-560 Initial Training Program covers general aircraft information including electrical, hydraulic, powerplant, communication equipment, cockpit familiarization, use of checklists, and much more. The simulated flight training takes place in RTC’s FAA Qualified Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS), which is equipped with the Honeywell Primus 1000 Avionics. The instructors’ goal is to get the students as accustomed as possible to unforeseen circumstances.
Course Breakdown
The Cessna CE-560 Initial Training Program duration is 13 days, which includes 47 hours of aircraft ground training, 9 hours of briefing, and 12 hours of flight training. In order to receive an unrestricted Type Rating, the applicant must meet at least one of the eligibility requirements.
