This course is designed to prepare the pilot for the transition to a new aircraft. The Baron's systems are covered in the classroom and then practiced in the simulator. Upon completion the pilot is ready SOE in the aircraft (supervised operating experience). Course also meets the requirements of aviation insurance companies' Initial training, and requirement for IFR Recent experience 61.57(c) in make and model aircraft.
Do you tailor training to the 58P-Baron? I’m buying an ’85 P-Baron, and want to become well versed in its rather complex systems. I currently fly a B36TC, so at least I know the engines…
We train PBaron pilots all the time. Just give us a call. If you just want systems, we can do that. If you want systems and sim time, we can do that also. Give me a call and we’ll talk more about your options.
Dear Jeff,
Thank you for your interest in our P- Baron course. If you have had a P-Baron Initial at an FAA Approved Part 141 or 142 training facility, that would be great. Otherwise, we can work with you to get you the training that you need.
Yes is the answer to your second question. RTC is open 7 days a week and you can definately train over the weekend if you like.
Call us at 800 727 1014 to schedule and for additional information.
We look forward to working with you soon.
