The CE-500 Single Pilot Exemption Course is conducted as an FAA-approved Part 142 training program and is designed for qualified CE-500 pilots seeking authorization to operate approved CE-500 aircraft under single-pilot operations.
Training focuses on single-pilot operational procedures, aircraft systems knowledge, abnormal and emergency procedures, and simulator-based proficiency training. High Altitude Endorsement training requirements under FAR §61.31(g) are also satisfied through the curriculum.
The course satisfies applicable requirements of:

– FAR §61.55(b)
– FAR §61.56(a), (c), and (i)
– FAR §61.57(a), (b), (c), and (d)
– FAR §61.58
The CE-500 Single Pilot Exemption Course is intended for pilots who already hold the required CE-500 type rating and meet applicable experience requirements for single-pilot operations. Successful completion may be used to support qualification for approved CE-500 single-pilot operations, subject to applicable FAA requirements and aircraft authorization.
