KING AIR 350 RECURRENT TRAINING Course OVERVIEW

The King Air 350 Recurrent Training Course provides pilots with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate the King Air 350 safely and efficiently while maintaining operational proficiency and recurrent training requirements.

Through structured ground instruction and simulator-based training, pilots review aircraft systems, flying techniques, normal and emergency procedures, and operational decision-making in a Part 142 training environment.

Who is this course for?

This course may be appropriate for pilots who:

• Hold a King Air 350 PIC type rating
• Hold a King Air 350 SIC type rating
• Are completing annual or periodic recurrent training requirements
• Need to maintain operational proficiency in the aircraft
• Are returning to King Air 350 operations after time away from the aircraft
• Want additional proficiency in Pro Line Fusion-equipped aircraft

Eligibility Requirements

Pilots Must:

Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate with an airplane category and instrument rating

Hold a multiengine land rating without a centerline thrust limitation

In addition, one of the following must be met

Hold a Pilot-in-Command Type Rating in the BE-300, OR

Hold a Second-in-Command Type Rating in the BE-300, OR

Have an endorsement or training record showing completion of 61.55 SIC training in the BE-300

Course duration is typically 4–5 days. Briefing/debriefing and simulator training hours do not include checkride hours.

Level D Full Flight Simulator Training

Training is conducted in RTC’s King Air 350 (BE-300) Level D Full Flight Simulator equipped with Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion avionics. The simulator environment allows pilots to review aircraft operations, abnormal procedures, and emergency scenarios in a controlled training setting.

Scenario based simulator sessions reinforce aircraft systems knowledge, procedural consistency, and operational decision-making.

RTC maintains its simulators in-house to provide dependable training schedules and consistent simulator availability.

FAA Training Requirements

RTC’s King Air 350 Recurrent Training Course is an FAA-approved Part 142 training program conducted in a Level D Full Flight Simulator. The course is designed to support ongoing pilot proficiency, recurrent training requirements, and operational readiness in the King Air 350 (BE-300).

This approved curriculum satisfies the applicable training requirements of:

• FAR §61.55(b)
• FAR §61.56(a), (c), and (i)
• FAR §61.57(a), (b), (c), and (d)
• FAR §61.31(g) High Altitude Operations

Completion of this course does not result in a new type rating, certification, or qualification. Applicable endorsements may be issued upon successful completion of the required training.
