I am due for my biannual flight review and my instrument proficiency check ride. I need log book sign offs on both. Is this included in your recurrent program. Are there any other costs not mentioned in your advertisement?
Important question, thank you for asking. All of RTC’s programs qualify for the FAA Wings Pilot Proficiency Program. FAR Part 61.56e states that all pilots must have either a BFR or participate in the Wings Program every 2 years. You will need to have 3 takeoffs and landings within the previous 90 days before training to qualify. You will also get a sign off for your logbook, showing that you have satisfied the requirements of FAR Part 61.57c. These are all part of the course and there is no extra charge. There are no hidden charges. Call us at 800 727 1014 if you have any additional questions. Thanks again.
Is the Cirrus training group or private? I am an IR student in Indiana….not able to fly much due to weather….want to come over get up to speed…..is your sim avidyne or garmin? I fly an 06 sr20 GTS.
All RTC courses are one on one so the focus is all on you. Our SR22 level 6 FTD has an Avidyne Glass Cockpit with G430. It is made from an actual Cirrus aircraft.
Hi, some quick questions,
1) your recurrent course gives me a signoff on both BFR and IPC, right? Im pretty sure that what you answered, just want to be clear.
2) Your ‘Cirrus Recurrent Syllabus’ link loads a PDF for Cessna 182/210. Do you have a PDF for Cirrus, since there are many Cirrus specific training issues?
3) How far in advance do we need to schedule the course? In particular, do you give the course over weekends?
4) The cockpit is Avidyne/Entegra,correct?
5) I am only interested in SR20, will that matter much? I too am 2006 SR20 GTS….
Thanks! Brand
I am interested in getting 1-1 recurrency training in emergency procedures in an SR-22 Avidyne/Integra simulator. Is it possible for me to customize my training at your facility? I have no interest in satisfying an FAA recurrency requirement of any sort (e.g., a BFR or IFR recurrency).
Thanks.

Dear Richard,
RTC is open for training 7 days a week and all training is one on one which means class starts when you get here.
Call 800 727 1014 to schedule training. As long as we have simulator availability, you may come whenever you wish.
Sometimes you can get in right away, sometimes 2 to 3 weeks notice is needed.
We look forward to working with you.
Mary
